Headquartered in New York City, Rath & Co. provides men’s image consulting and personal styling in person throughout the Tri-State Area and in metro Boston. We are also available virtually for online styling and personal shopping, and we work with women by referral.
As seen on CBS’s The Early Show, in Men’s Health magazine and in The Wall Street Journal, former Casting Director Julie Rath aligns her clients’ outer image with their personal and professional goals, enabling them to present their most confident and authentic selves. Julie is a graduate of Princeton University. She has a Certificate in Image Consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she also studied Fashion Styling. Julie is certified in Image Consulting from The Image Resource Center of New York and is an active Member of the Association of Image Consultants International.
Through her career in TV casting, Julie developed a discerning eye for what makes people visually appealing. After many years of doing this work, she felt compelled to share her insider’s perspective with everyone – not just actors. As a resident of Manhattan for the past ten years, Julie regularly encountered the same scenario: that of an incredibly intelligent and cool guy whose “outside” doesn’t match his “inside.” Julie has made it her mission to help these men achieve a more put-together and impactful personal presentation.
Rath & Co. does a variety of restylings to fit each individual’s unique personality and sensibilities. Our clients come from all income levels, and we do everything from small tweaks, like a new hairstyle or eyeglasses, to comprehensive updates, including a closet tune-up and personal shopping.
